Vintage for a cause

Vintage is a sure win for my taste. Just like these pieces, I am so in-love with them. This is a design-your-own bracelet, and this took me 4 hours to just pick the charms.

I also love this necklace, it just gives the right amount of popping color.

Both items are from Moody Mary. She is currently running a fund raising for the Yolanda (Haiyan) victims.

Camouflage

It is such a breeze to wear this design. Since the colors are not loud, I can wear this design in the office.

Pandora update

Yet another update for my bracelet! Sorry, but this one is quite dear to me. My brother gave me an early Christmas gift.

The cute little girl

Love for sparklers

It all started with a little piece of gold. Back when the world was more peaceful, my Mom gave me a gold necklace with a locket pendant. It is a hand-down piece from my great-great-grandmom. It is passed on the eldest daughter of the family, so technically my Mom was the eldest and so was I. I wore it all-the-time, and when I say all-the-time, I mean all-the-time.

The art of making a baby (preconception #2)

So I am not pregnant....... yet. Sometimes it feels disheartening especially when you know that you're significant other really wants it. Wanting to have another baby is a challenge, and wanting to have a baby girl just puts another pressure in your 'trying to conceive' journey. Added with the minimal chances of being together  is really an act of defiance to our circumstances.
Time has no meaning, Love will endure.

Obsidian dream

And now, presenting an addition to my collection, Thomas Sabo charm carrier bracelet. It is made from obsidian and 925 sterling silver. I chose this to easily match any outfit. As we all know, this brand offers a wide range of designs for their charms and that is the very reason why I am having a dilemma of choosing the perfect charm for my bracelet. My ending was not buying any charms that day. While strolling around Orchard, I stumble upon this lovely charm from Fossil. It is the Love Braille Charm, with 'love' etched in braille on a rose gold plate, it is sure to stand out and make a statement.

The art of making a baby (preconception #1)

We've always wanted to have our little princess. Our boys are always asking ‘When is our little princess coming? Our youngest son is already 5 years old and his big brother is turning 13 this year. The hubby and I decided that now is the perfect time to conceive our baby girl. But the big question is, HOW. How in the world can we do that? Given the fact that we are far apart and we only have limited time to be together. We are going to try our best to beat the odds of conceiving with only one cycle. According to a study, there is only 30% success rate of being pregnant with just one cycle. So be it! We are up for the challenge.

Preparation:
-I've been monitoring and carefully tracking my ovulation for the past 10 months. I am willing to try everything to increase the chances of conceiving a girl. I'm currently on ‘the baby girl diet’ and have been doing that for quite a while now.

-Now that I've tracked by ovulation, I've booked my ticket to fly home and ready to do the baby dance. We are crossing our fingers and hoping for the best. :)
